I took engagement photos earlier this month. I wanted to go for an English garden theme and I remembered loving Carrie’s floral dresses from the first Sex and The City Movie. Here is my take on Carrie’s look during the apartment search and auction scenes in the film.
My fiance snapped this photo just before our photographer arrived.
Working with only the clothes I already had in my closet, I was able to come up with something I loved that was visually interesting. I was able to utilize two of my favorite pieces, my Tommy Hilfiger jacket (a gift from my Boo) and my Michael Kors boots (they were a hand me down from Uma Thurman!) My engagement photos turned out beautifully.
